Hello everyone,
As this semester comes to an end, I would like to say goodbye and share some of my thoughts about this course.
Looking back, I can honestly say that this course was both challenging and rewarding. Through the semester, we completed many technology-mediated tasks and explored different ways of integrating technology into language teaching. Before taking this course, I already believed that technology could be useful in education, but now I understand much better how it can be used effectively to support learning rather than simply making lessons more digital.
Among all the tasks, my favorite one was the PSA project about conscious antibiotic use. Creating a short digital story and combining visuals with meaningful messages was both enjoyable and educational. I also enjoyed working with tools such as Canva and exploring different ways to present information creatively.
One of the most memorable parts of this course was exploring different technological tools and approaches that I had never used before. Some tasks required more effort and time than others, but each of them helped me develop new skills and broaden my understanding of technology integration. Even when I faced challenges, I saw them as opportunities to learn and improve. Looking back, I appreciate how every task contributed to my professional growth in a different way.
The blogging experience was also interesting. At first, writing blog posts felt unusual, but over time it became a useful way to reflect on what I had learned. Reading and commenting on others’ work allowed me to see different ideas and experiences as well.
Overall, this course has changed my perspective on technology integration. As a future English teacher, I now feel more confident about using digital tools to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for my students.
Thank you to our instructor and classmates for a productive semester. I wish everyone success in their future studies and teaching careers.
